The project is located in Guishan District, Taoyuan, Taiwan. It is a 4 stories logistic center with 1 story basement for packing. A special steel frame system is used for the two way 12 meters span floor system with up to 3 t/m2 live load. Main lateral load resisting system is placed outside the main floor plate in order to standardize the gravity load system within
the main floor. By rotating the secondary pin connected floor beams and applying kickers, steel tonnage is dramatically reduced, making it possible for the design to provide the Client with additional packing, which does not included in the original construction budget. |
