The project is an office building located in Qianjin District, Kaohsiung City, featuring 26 floors above ground and 4 underground levels. It is constructed with a steel superstructure and reinforced concrete for the basement levels. Floors 1 through 5 are designated for commercial spaces and lobby areas, while floors 6 through 26 are allocated for office use. The total height of the building, including the roof structure, is 128.75 meters. The superstructure comprises a steel framework with a ductile moment-resisting frame system in the X direction and a combined system of buckling-restrained braces and a ductile moment-resisting frame in the Y direction.

This project's structural system includes a steel special moment-resisting frame (SMRF), buckling-restrained braces (BRBs), and vierendeel truss systems. The SMRF is positioned only in the central hallway area and around the building's perimeter, while the BRBs are located exclusively on the outer east and west sides of the building. This configuration creates a spacious office area with no columns between the building perimeter and core, and the compositely designed floor beam between the building perimeter and core are mere 60 cm, ceiling height of 3.0 meter is achieved. Additionally, as low-rise elevator drops off at 18 level, a floating column is incorporated into the core frame. To manage this challenge, a rigid truss is used to support the floating column, avoiding the need to increase the size of the transfer beam.

Several Vierendeel truss systems are employed to ensure that columns are only present in the central hallway area and along the building's perimeter. This design allows the office spaces on each floor to appear expansive and unobstructed by any columns. As a result, certain floors have only four columns in the west side, making it more premium, spacious, and offers better views compared to other floors.
