King-Le Chang has over 40 years of experience in structural engineering, including steel, concrete, and masonry and timber construction. As a Senior Structural Engineer and Associate with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, he was responsible for several large-scale projects that were over 100 million dollars in construction cost. In 1991, King-Le joined Arup, leading the Los Angeles office's structural engineering practice. In 1992, he took the role of Managing Director of the Los Angeles office, supervising over 180 structural and MEP engineering professionals. King-Le also served on the Arup USA board.
In 2001, King-Le founded King-Le Chang & Associates, an independent structural engineering company based in Taipei, Taiwan. King-Le Chang & Associates specializes in high-end, challenging structural engineering projects, and has collaborated with many of Taiwan's most well-known architects and many industry-leading architects around the world. The company has developed a reputation for its efficiency and ability to deliver results on difficult projects. In addition to having supervised integrated engineering teams, King-Le has been the Principal in Charge or Director of structural engineering teams for over 150 projects in 10 countries on a wide range of project types.
