Uni-President Logistics Park (Taoyuan Aerotropolis)
The project is situated in Dayuan District, Taoyuan City, in close proximity to the Taoyuan Metro Airport Line, covering an area of approximately 84,369 square meters. It consists of two main sections: the office area (Building A) and the logistics center (Building B), which is designated for logistics use. Building B is divided into B1 and B2, separated by a 40 cm expansion joint.

The logistics center, Buildings B1 and B2, both employ a steel braced frame system with buckling restrained braces. The structure consists of a vertical load system and a lateral load system, with a primary column spacing of 12m x 12m.
For the buckling restrained brace system, B1 is primarily located within the building's six elevator core tubes, while B2 is positioned at the four corners and along the perimeter of the structure. This brace system is designed to prevent buckling and, after entering a nonlinear state, to provide stable energy dissipation, ensuring the structure's safety during major earthquakes. The base steel columns of the brace system are filled with 6000 psi concrete.

The long span multi-story truss has a span ranging from 36 to 48 meters. This design creates a more spacious, column-free area at the first-floor loading dock, making it more convenient for vehicle loading, unloading, and movement.
The soil in this project predominantly consists of a gravel layer, with good geological conditions and high bearing capacity. For the area without a basement on the first floor, an isolated footing and combined footing foundation system is designed, with a foundation depth of 90 to 250 cm. In the basement area, a continuous foundation is designed in conjunction with a thickened core slab, with a foundation depth of 200 cm.
