The project is located in Xindian District, Taipei, and it is a mix-use project with six residential towers, retail podium and basement packing levels.
The first Commercial Tower phase consists of three 40 stories residential towers, an 8 stories retail podium and 5 stories basement, the second Residential Tower phase consists of three 46 stories towers and 5 stories basement. Design Architect Zaha Hadid's curvilinear style is fully displayed in the Commercial Tower podium and the Residential Tower roof. The architectural design image of lily and crown make the structural framing and façade systems complicated. Main structural frames follow the exterior architectural geometry, creating a mega-frame system that is cost efficient and significantly reduce the cost of secondary framing for the façade system. |
